Print Making

Room 4 students all designed a picture, lightly drew it on to cardboard then traced their image with a hot glue gun. They then used paint on top of the glue then pressed it down onto paper.  Simple printmaking but the children all enjoyed it and came up with other ideas of how print making could be done.

PB4L

Positive Behaviour 4 Learning

Takaro School is part of this fantastic initiative sweeping NZ.
PB4L is about promoting positive behaviour.
 Our kura slogan is CAP.
Care
Actively participate
Problem solve.

Room 4 work really hard inside and outside the classroom to use these three learning behaviours in all situations.  They learn the lessons around what these look like in different situations and how we can use them to help ourselves and others.

Inside the classroom students are given Dojo points for the positive things they do all day.  Outside of the classroom the students are given Tino Kino Te Pai for positive things they are doing.

Keep an eye out for more information or come on in to Room 4 and ask :)
